Redlands, CA, April 5, 2018 – Southern California Equestrian Sports (SCES) announced today their supporting contribution of three thousand dollars to Aspen Farms Horse Trials. The event will take place in Yelm, Washington on June 8-10, 2018. Two thousand dollars of the donated funds will be given for event enhancement, with the remainder dedicated towards the support of competing SCES members.
SCES will award five hundred dollars to the highest placed SCES members, in both the CIC1* and CIC2* divisions, as a part of their mission to support horse sports and competitors in a variety of disciplines, at the international levels.
“We look forward to again awarding this prize money in support of our SCES members, as well as supporting the Aspen Farms event. At SCES, we understand the financial demands of equestrian sports, and are honored to support competitions and athletes in bringing their goals to fruition,” stated Southern California Equestrian Sports President, David Kuhlman.
Riders planning to compete at Aspen Farms who would like to become eligible for SCES awards are urged to apply to become an SCES approved rider no later than May 30th. Application forms can be found here.
SCES is open to riders in all equestrian disciplines, from a variety of countries, competing at the international levels of competition (FEI), which proudly includes Paralympic Athletes, and urges any interested equestrians to apply through their website here.
