The XC course is closed to prepare for our September competition.  The course will open after the September AFHT.

Aspen Farms in Yelm, WA offers cross-country schooling opportunities on a limited basis each year. We have fences from Beginner Novice through Advanced level, including two water complexes. The fences featured on the course may vary depending on the time of year.

To be able to school the cross-country course at Aspen Farms, you must email Jonathan Elliott at jonathan_elliott@hotmail.com and get permission for each time you would like to come. Please note the cross-country course is closed before each USEA horse trials for 5 weeks.

You must have an instructor present when you school, and your instructor needs to provide you with what is called a Certificate of Insurance for their Instructors Liability Insurance. It should name Aspen Farms, LLC as an Additional Insured. Please forward these documents to Eve at:

eve@sea-mountain.com . Instructors need to have limits of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. You will not be allowed to come without the Certificate of Insurance.

Helmets are required for all riders.

Please be courteous and pick up after your horse and yourself while here to school XC.

The cross-country schooling fee is $75 per horse. Please print and sign our Liability Release form, here. You can submit your completed releases in the tack room of the main barn or email them directly to jonathan_elliott@hotmail.com. Thank you!
