This year’s CIC2* at Aspen Farms Horse Trials has 21 entries from Washington, Idaho, Montana, California, and Canada. They are scheduled to tackle the 3,105 meter cross-country course designed by Tremaine Cooper starting at 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, June 11th. This year’s course includes 21 numbered questions and 30 jumping efforts with an optimum time of 5 minutes 39 seconds. The course capitalizes on the beautiful rolling terrain of Aspen Farms–wooded trails as well as open pastures with lush foliage and Mt. Rainier in the backdrop.

Many thanks to Aspen Farms’ jump builders–Travers Schick, Joe Stylos, and Josh Sylce–and cross-country coordinators–Jackie Burch, Katie McKinstry, Becky Mathews, and Piper Newman.
