Sponsors of Aspen Farms Horse Trials and Area VII Championships on September 8-10 have stepped forward to provide over $20,000 in cash and prizes to top finishers at next week’s competition. More than 300 riders from throughout the Pacific Northwest, California, Montana, and Canada will compete as Aspen Farms celebrates our tenth anniversary of hosting USEA-recognized horse trials in Yelm, WA.

Tin Men Supply is again sponsoring the USEA Adequan Gold Cup Advanced division–the only Advanced division offered in the state of Washington. Tin Men Supply is a locally-owned manufacturer of colored steel roofing and siding for residential, commercial, or agricultural needs and the premiere supplier in Southwest Washington.

Toklat, distributor of top-quality equestrian products, will award gift certificates, Stafford Soft Shell Jackets, T3 Classic Pads, and Roeckl Gloves. Gallops Saddlery will award engraved leather halters, professional choice cross-country boots, polo wraps, gift certificates, and more. You can also shop all three days of the competition at the Gallops Saddlery tent located by the show office.

Ice Horse (manufacturer of innovative equine cold therapy products), Olson’s Tack, and Kerrits will award gift certificates. Kerrits has also provided Tailor Stretch Show Shirts and Ice Fill Jackets.

Nupafeed, providers of superior equine supplements designed for performance horses, will award gift cards and Magnesium Daily Liquid 3 liter bottles. Auburn Laboratories will award bottles of APF Pro, an advanced natural herbal formula for use in equine athletes.

Award ceremonies will take place Sunday immediately following the conclusion of show jumping for each division. Competitors competing in cross-country on Sunday can pick up their awards at the show office and take pictures in front of the Aspen Farms award backdrop designed by Deco Pony. Competitors are encouraged to share their photos to social media using the hashtags #AFHT and #AreaVIIChamps and to thank our sponsors for their support of Area VII eventing. On cross-country both Saturday and Sunday, spectators will not want to miss the action at the Toklat water, the centrally-located Kerrits mound which includes a view of Mt. Rainier, and the Gallops water complex. Cheer for your friends as they leave the APF Start Box or cross the Ice Horse Finish.

Competition begins at 8 a.m. on Friday, September 8 with dressage.
